AI Lifts for KLEEMANN: The imaginary lift that brought Greek industry into the global design conversation
For a multinational lift manufacturer, global scale was already a reality. KLEEMANN’s challenge was different: to approach architects and construction professionals in a way that felt less like product communication and more like creative inspiration. The aim was connection, not conversion.
Our answer was AI Lifts an independent concept, curated by The Design Ambassador, that uses artificial intelligence to imagine lifts beyond technical and physical limitations.

The brief was not to sell a lift
KLEEMANN sees lifts as unique spaces, not simply moving boxes within a building. We translated this philosophy into a platform that invites architects to think freely about vertical transportation and its place in the buildings of the future.
The world of lifts reimagined became more than a positioning line. It defined a new visual territory in which lifts could become sculptural objects, architectural interventions and immersive environments. The project did not present what already existed. It opened a window onto what could exist next.
Building a world, not a campaign
We developed AI Lifts from the ground up: concept, naming, positioning, strategy, logo and visual identity. We then brought the brand to life through AI-generated images and videos for its dedicated website and social media presence.
Each image introduced a surreal—or perhaps future—environment, but the lift always remained the protagonist. Materials, landscapes, architectural styles and unexpected scales changed from one scene to another, while the central idea stayed consistent: removing limits from elevator design.
We designed and developed ai-lifts.com as the project’s digital home, with @ai.lifts extending its visual world on Instagram. The same identity was adapted for fairs and exhibitions through a system of visuals and promotional applications, giving AI Lifts a distinct presence within the KLEEMANN environment. It became a source of ideas that expressed the company’s values, engaged architects’ imagination and showed how design can shift the perspective of an established industrial sector.
A dialogue with the architects and construction professionals
Instead of asking architects and construction professionals to look at another lift catalogue, AI Lifts gave them ideas to react to, question and reinterpret. The content connected an industrial product with architecture, technology, visual culture and speculative design.
This shift also changed the role of communication. KLEEMANN was no longer speaking only about lift specifications or solutions. It was creating a space for dialogue about how lifts could contribute to the identity, atmosphere and experience of a building.
An imaginary lift. A real cover.
The clearest proof of the concept’s international relevance came when one of the AI Lifts images appeared on the cover of Elevator World, the global vertical transportation magazine, with the project also featured inside its pages.
An unreal lift had generated a very real piece of global visibility. More importantly, an industrial company from Greece had entered the international design conversation through imagination rather than product promotion.
AI Lifts did not use artificial intelligence to predict the future of elevators. It used it to make that future worth imagining.
